As the Bow River flows, we can row down stream on an adventure. It is beautiful to say it’s lovely how a river connects communities. You know all the small towns and farms. That’s why Alberta’s such a beautiful place, especially the Bow Valley, my home. Not just my home but the home to many others. We enjoy the beauty of nature together and most of all the snow. As the seasons of change appear, I wanted to share and mention a personal reflection.
I am grateful for the Bow Valley helping me in tough times. When I lost my daughter they stepped in to help me with food and funds to pay for the funeral. Grateful for all those who helped out. I am forever grateful as I reflect.
Cochrane sent me to nationals as my band wouldn’t support me. I made nationals in hockey at 14 and 16. Both times the bow Valley sent me. Forever grateful. I hope this reaches people who have helped me… Thank you for your support. I know it’s been over many years. But I wanted to share this.
Thank you. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
