My whole life. I drove by and never stopped to visit, just on my way to school growing up who knew Elizabeth Barrett was a closer to home than I expected, especially when it was just school.
What got my attention was, was when the church burned down. It was a sudden shock, nothing will be the same. For 3 years I’ve heard perspective of others, pain equals anger and after 3 years, when covid hit, is when I decided to be a tourist in my own back yard. I asked a friend about McDougall church, I want to learn about it myself.
From there I’ve been amazed with experience at the church with my new friends. We saw beautiful glimpse of magic. Do you believe in magic? A god?
When I first arrived the interpretative walk creation walk was incredible.
A walk with history,
With the land.
The wind whispers.
Leaves tell stories.
Grass whistling music.
Warmth that touches your skin
Like wearing your heart.
The energy showed up in colors of water, the river.
How a moment of topics was blessed by eagles, becomes a lovely memory.
From playing on the land with imagination. Who knew answers would prevail.
Walk with love and no expectations, without ego, tell me what you see ….
Trails for life.
